Over the years, Innovation & Development Consulting has also been involved in projects funded by the European Commission, allowing us both to work with international partners at the highest level and to maintain the high quality level of our staff by working in a multidisciplinary context. EU Projects

XF-ACTORS – Xylella Fastidiosa Active Containment Through a multidisciplinary-Oriented Research Strategy (2016-2021)

XF-ACTORS is a research project to improve prevention, early detection and control of Xylella fastidiosa through the establishment of a multidisciplinary research program. XF-ACTORS (2016-2021) was funded by the European Union within the Horizon 2020 program and view the participation of 29 EU and NO-EU countries.

ID Consulting, as affiliated entity of Sustainable Communication aisbl, was in charge of the communication and dissemination activities.

FOWARIM objective was to strengthen the research capacity of the Malta College of Arts, Science & Technology (MCAST)’s Water Research and Training Centre in 4 crucial themes related to the field of water use in agriculture: (a) Decreasing Water Demand, (b) Making Use of Alternative Sources of Water (c) Renewable Desalinization, On-Farm Desalinization and Utilization of Saline Water and (d) Decreasing Negative Environmental Externalities Caused by Nutrient-Rich Farm Waters.

ID Consulting was in charge for the communication and dissemination activities of the project.

EARN – Euro-Algerian Research Networking

EARN was a project aiming at the improvement of Science and Technology cooperation between Europe and Algeria. Nine partners coming from Algeria, France, Belgium and Germany cooperated and contributed to the implementation of the project.Important project activities were to provide Algerian key actors (researchers, enterprises, policy makers and intermediates) with relevant information about funding opportunities at European level as well as providing access to European partners and identifying thematic priorities which are of mutual interest.

Safer BraIn – Innovative Guidelines and Tools for Vulnerable Road Users Safety in India and Brazil

The main aim of the project was to increase the level of safety of the whole road transport system and its components, focussing the attention on vulnerable road users, thus contributing to the overall scope of reducing the number of fatalities and the severity of injuries caused by road accidents.

ID Consulting was a project partner for project management activities, results exploitation plan and dissemination support.

Studies & Research

Digitalising the Construction Sector – Unlocking the potential of data with a value chain approach

Study on digitization of the construction industry was done for CECE, organization representing and promoting the European construction equipment and related industries. The research was conducted following a qualitative approach which combined the analysis of existing reports on the matter with interviews held with companies from across the construction sector and the IT sector, as well as representatives from other sectors that are going through digital transformation.
